Our objective is the design and development of low cost and widely accessible novel curriculum-based modular courseware in physical, biological and health sciences at high school (6th -12th grades) and college levels, by means of:
Integration of computer-aided simulations tools and laboratory practice with a larger technology-infused curricular context
Application of emerging advances in cognitive and learning theory to the development of an innovative instructional technology approach and a model of instruction.
Creation of a low cost and widely accessible courseware module in science education, targeted to promote science-literacy and science inquiry using Virtual Reality interface as a tool to perform individual and collaborative tasks.
